the moment of contact such an amazing difference
the touch and reception giving groundbreaking deliverance
a breath, oh so warm, tracing across the shape of my lips
my hair entwined, and swept though by your blind fingertips
i sit and i ponder if you could just tell
that your touch is something into which i had fell
you stop, pull back oh just a perfect pause
your whisper giving every sensation just cause
a smile, a glance and back into my space
you orbit, just right, such an expert pace
i feel the want and the need to say
things, but i know better i am in your sway
too early? too late? too much? too soon?
life being short i should feel its a boon
to be gifted so open this time we have spent
and not waking tomorrow wishing i had just bent
so i wait and toil until another sun rises
to bring you to me and your endless surprises
